Why no Pepto for Gout?

In response to the question: “why can’t you take Pepto Bismol if you have the gout?” I’ve added some notes about Bismuth Subsalicylate and Gout.

What do you take as an alternative to Pepto? Have you checked the label for bismuth subsalicylate?
